Job Description

Flourish Education is currently recruiting for a Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive First school in the Droitwich area. Rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED, the school prides itself on nurturing each child’s unique talents and maintaining a strong culture of reflection and continuous improvement.

This full-time, long-term position is set to begin in November and will run until March 2026, with the potential to continue until the end of the academic year.

 
About the Role:
As the Year 5 class Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons
  • Working closely with a dedicated Teaching Assistant
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Safeguarding all pupils and ensuring their wellbeing
  • Marking work in line with the school’s policies
  • Participating in staff meetings and playground duty rotas
This is a fantastic opportunity for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are committed to making a positive impact on learners in Key Stage 2.
 
Requirements for this Year 5 Teacher position:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or status as an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Experience teaching in either KS1 or KS2
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Recent, positive references from school-based experience
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Competitive daily pay: Up to £223.62 per day (equivalent to £43,607 per annum based on full-time work for the academic year)
  • Holiday pay: 12.07% of your daily rate
