Flourish Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Coventry to recruit a dedicated Year 6 Teacher for a full-time position starting in September and continuing for the full academic year.

As the Year 6 Teacher, you'll take full responsibility for the class, guiding pupils through this important stage of their primary education while preparing them confidently for the transition to secondary school.

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:
  • Take full class teacher responsibility, including planning, delivering and marking lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stage 2.
  • Monitor pupil progress and prepare pupils effectively for end-of-year assessments and SATs.
  • Provide feedback to support pupils' academic progress.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other members of staff.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and create a positive classroom environment.

We're looking for teachers who:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience working as a Primary Teacher within a UK primary school.
  • Have previous experience teaching Year 6 or upper Key Stage 2.
  • Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Have experience supporting pupils through SATs.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Are passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
