Job Description

Flourish Education are currently recruiting for a Year 6 Class Teacher to join a welcoming school in Nuneaton on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Year 6 Teacher with strong KS2 knowledge who is looking for a full-time role within a supportive school environment. You will take on full class teaching responsibilities, including planning and delivering engaging lessons, preparing resources, marking and assessing pupils' work, and supporting them to achieve their full potential.

The Role
  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
  • Take full responsibility for planning, marking and assessment.
  • Monitor and support pupils' progress and attainment.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Manage behaviour effectively and consistently.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and colleagues.
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

About You
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential.
  • Previous KS2 teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to supporting every child to achieve their potential.

Working for Flourish Education
  • £168.80 – £232.57 per day (£32,916 – £45,351 per annum based on 5 days per week).
