Job Description

Flourish Education are seeking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Class Teacher to join a welcoming 1-form entry primary school in the Tamworth area. This is a full-time position starting February 2026, with the potential to become a permanent role from the following academic year.

The school has been rated GOOD by Ofsted and is committed to helping pupils grow in confidence while developing their knowledge and skills in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

As a Year 6 Class Teacher in our client’s school, you will be responsible for but not limited to planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in a creative and engaging manner, working alongside the teaching assistant, safeguarding all students, marking work in line with the school policy and attending meetings where necessary.


To apply for this Year 6 Class Teacher role, you will need:
  • Experience in teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Experience with KS2 SATs
  • Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Commitment to the role
  • A strong school reference from your recent employer/school placement

Working for Flourish Education as a Year 6 Class Teacher you will receive:
  • A competitive salary of up to £223.62 per day which equates up to £43,605.90 per annum based on working 5 days per week for the full academic year.
