Bringing Festive Cheer: Flourish Father Christmas Delivers Joy Across the Midlands

Tuesday, December 17, 2024

We have been busy spreading some festive cheer this December by visiting Primary Schools across the West Midlands with Father Christmas, his grotto, and a team of helpful elves, handing out books to EYFS and Key Stage 1 (KS1) pupils.

Flourish Education has been busy spreading festive cheer across primary schools in the West Midlands, bringing Father Christmas, his magical grotto, and a team of helpful elves to visit EYFS and Key Stage 1 pupils

A report released by the National Literacy Trust found that 1 in every 12 children doesn’t own their own book. This statistic touched our hearts, and we have been on a mission ever since to ensure that more children own their own book.

For the third year in a row, Flourish’s Father Christmas has been visiting Primary Schools and Academies across the West Midlands, handing out over 600 books to EYFS and KS1 pupils.

It’s a highlight of our year, as we love seeing the excitement and anticipation on the pupils’ faces as they step into the grotto and meet Father Christmas to receive their special gift.

Flourish Father Christmas has been an absolute hit with children and schools alike. Although every school has its own unique culture and atmosphere, one constant has stood out to us: the politeness and enthusiasm of the children. It’s been an absolute pleasure to bring this experience to so many young learners.
