Flourish Champions of the Summer Term 2024

Wednesday, June 19, 2024

Every term, we ask the schools and academies that we work with, to nominate a member of our team that has worked in their schools to be Flourish Champion of the Term. We ask them to nominate someone who has gone above and beyond for their school or their pupils.

Over the last 2 weeks, our Flourish team have been visiting some of the schools that we work with, to present a gift voucher and flowers to our Flourish Champions of the term. We wanted to thank them for their flexibility and dedication, and for being incredible to us, the pupils they support and the schools they work with.

We have received a tremendous number of nominations this term, so many that it was impossible to pick just three. This term we are excited to announce there are five Flourish Champions of the term! Without further ado, our winners are:

Saiema, Victoria, Adele, Julie and Cheenen!

Flourish Champions of Spring Term, Supply Teachers and Teaching Assistants who have gone the extra mile for our supply agency

Victoria:

“Victoria is lovely with the children and has an excellent subject knowledge.” – School in Malvern.

“Victoria currently works full-time as a PPA Teacher, and she is an absolute pleasure to work with. She has received amazing feedback from all the schools she’s worked in since she started with us, with members of staff commenting on Victoria’s happy disposition, her positivity and her kindness towards the children. It is no wonder she was nominated for Flourish Champion. I thoroughly enjoy our weekly catchups and am so pleased that Victoria chose to register with us in April 2024.”Rebecca Stanton, Primary Recruitment Consultant for Malvern and Herefordshire

Adele:

“Adele comes in every Wednesday like a breath of fresh air. She is always friendly, bubbly and helpful towards staff. The children enjoy their lessons with Adele." – School in South Birmingham

Cheenen*:

"Cheenen is truly fabulous and has been a massive support in the class this year. Especially in supporting the children with SEND. She is a valued member of staff, and I am really appreciative of all the hard work she has put in this year.” – South Birmingham Primary School

“Cheneen has worked as a Teaching Assistant with Flourish since April 2022. Every time we chat, she is always so upbeat, and it's always been lovely to catch up about life, work, and everything in between. In her current role, Cheneen is supporting various children with additional needs and does a brilliant job. She is an asset to the Flourish Team!” – Lizzy Francis Drummond, Birmingham Branch Manager

Congratulations Saiema, Victoria, Adele, Julie and Cheenen; thank you for everything you do!

It was incredibly difficult to narrow down the nominations to just five, as all the ones we received were fantastic and it’s lovely to hear how well-thought-of our Flourish Champions are within the schools that we work with. We are extremely proud of all our Flourish Champions and are thankful for their continued commitment, enthusiasm and professionalism.

*Unfortunately, Cheenen was in class when we surprised her, so we were unable to get a photo of her receiving her gifts as there were children all around her.
