Flourish Education becomes an accredited Living Wage Employer

We’re pleased to share that Flourish Education has been accredited as a Living Wage Employer by the Living Wage Foundation.

The accreditation reflects our commitment to paying the real Living Wage to the workers covered by the scheme, including our directly employed team. It is another step in making sure the people who support our schools and candidates feel valued for the work they do.

What is the real Living Wage?

The real Living Wage is independently calculated based on the cost of living. It is a voluntary rate that employers choose to pay above the government minimum.

For us, accreditation makes our commitment to fair pay clear. Our team works closely with schools every day to meet staffing needs and helps educators find opportunities that suit their experience and preferences. The people doing that work deserve to be paid fairly.

What does this mean for candidates?

Fair pay is important to the teachers, Teaching Assistants and other education staff we work with. They make a difference in schools every day and pay is an important consideration when choosing a new role.

We want candidates to have clear information about the pay offered for each opportunity. We will also continue to encourage conversations with schools about recognising the value of the staff supporting their pupils.

Our Living Wage Employer accreditation does not mean that every job we advertise is automatically paid at the real Living Wage. Pay varies by role and school, so educators should check the rate shown for each vacancy or speak to their consultant for more information.
