Are you a class Teacher looking for a Year 2 Teacher position? Flourish Education are recruiting a primary teacher to work with a highly regarded 2-form entry Primary school based in Edgbaston. This role is a temporary - permanent class teacher role.

The school is driven by a powerful ethos which aspires to treat everyone inclusively and recognises the importance of a holistic approach to education. If you are a teacher who is passionate about building childrens love of learning this might be the perfect role for you. The school are trialling teachers for a day to meet their staff team, children and see the premises. The role is to start in September 2024 with the view of a temp-perm contract.

Responsibilities of a Year 2 Class Teacher :

• To deliver exciting lessons to match the school’s teaching and learning strategies
• To work alongside support staff to ensure that the needs of all pupils are met
• To communicate effectively with staff, pupils and parents
• To plan and deliver engaging lessons
• To set clear expectations for behaviour and learning in the classroom.

Required Skills and Experience for this Year 2 Class Teacher role:

• A record of ‘good’ classroom practice throughout your previous positions/ placements
• Up-to-date KS1 knowledge
• To be adaptable and reliable
• A DBS on the update service or issued within the last 12 months

The benefits working for Flourish Education:

• Salary ranges between £143.58- 190.00 per day which equates to £28,000 - £37,050 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
