This Tipton based school are looking for a humanities teacher to join their vibrant department for their Key stage 3 and 4 (KS3 and KS4) students to deliver one (or more) of the following subjects:
Responsibilities for the Humanities Teacher role
- Deliver humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes
- Full planning, marking and assessment required.
- Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
- Work with Head of Department to plan lessons.
- Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
- Attend CPD relevant to the role – whole staff and SLT meetings.
Required skills and experience for the Humanities Teacher role
- Experience in teaching humanities in upper school
- Must have the relevant teacher status: QTS / ECT’s (formerly NQTs) are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication skills.
- Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
- Previous humanities Teacher experience.
