Flourish Education are currently working with an “Outstanding” school in the Black County  who are seeking a Design Technology Teacher that has taught Resistant Materials  and Product Design. You must have experience with using Design machinery such as lathes, upright drills, etc.                                                   

The school is based in Dudley and caters for pupils 11-18yrs. The department has a technician who is able to assist between the departments as and when needed. The exam boards the school are currently working with are OCT for Resistant Materials and AQA for Product Design.

The role is due to start in January and continue until April.

To apply to this role you will need the following

• UK QTS or NQT
• Experience teaching Key Stages 3 & 4
• Health & Safety Certificate
• Experience teaching Product Design and Resistant Materials
• Experience using Machine’s such as Lathes & Upright drills

Responsibilities

• Planning, Marking & all work associated with this role
• Managing any Teaching Assistant’s working within your classroom
• Classroom Behaviour
• Reporting to the head of department
