Flourish Education are currently working with a three-form entry School located in Walsall. The school are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work closely with a EAL KS1 pupil working at EYFS levels with significant behavioural problems , on a part-time basis initially until Christmas but likely to be extended (funding dependant)

Additional support is in place from a speech and language therapist, behavioural therapist and a SEN consultant providing advice and strategies.

The role is due to start 2nd November, mornings only every Monday – Friday.

The role is due to start ASAP on a full-time basis.

To apply to this role you will need the following

Have experience of working with learning difficulties

Recent schools experience

Have supported pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis

Be enthusiastic about working with children

Good behaviour management skills and the ability to build rapport

Hold a minimum of a level 2 childcare qualification

 Responsibilities
