Flourish Education are working with a mainstream primary school in West BromwichHand, to recruit exclusively for a SEN Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher within a classroom setting and work one to one with a child with Autism.

This role is to work both with autism one to one support and supporting the class Teacher within KS1.

The role is required to start ASAP

To apply to this role you will need the following

• Relevant Level 3 qualification or above
• At least 1 year of experience within Primary Schools
• Experience of working with children with Special Needs in particular Autism
• Experience of working on a 1:1 basis
• A good reference from your most recent school
• Good behaviour management

Responsibilities

• To support SEN children within the classroom setting
• Support the class Teacher within Year KS1 (Year group to be confirmed)
• To effectively manage the behaviour and routines of the children
• Encourage children’s development and improve their access to the curriculum
