Flourish Education is partnered with a ‘Good’ Primary School located in the Edgbaston area of Birmingham. The school is ideal to local transport links in Birmingham City Centre.

Flourish Education are seeking a KS1 Teacher to join the school on a long-term basis. The role is to work within a Year 1 class. The role includes planning and marking, but the teachers often share resources. It is a full class teacher role requiring full commitment, attending all meetings and conducting all assessments and reporting.

NQT support can be negotiated.

The role is looking to start ASAP for the New Year.

To apply to this role, you will need the following

• Qualified Teacher Status, NQT’s are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience of working in Year 1
• High expectations of behaviour
• Drive and passion to maintain and improve teaching and learning standards

Responsibilities

• To deliver creative and engaging lessons to the Year 1 class.
• Supporting the transition from Reception into KS1
• To work in partnership with a Teaching Assistant
• To effectively manage the behaviour of pupils
