Search jobsOur client, a large primary school located in the Stourbridge area, is looking for an effective Primary Teacher to join their team in September. This is a full time role and involves planning, marking, assessment and all other duties associated with the class teacher position. The role is to cover maternity leave and is expected to last for at least two terms, with the potential to go on longer.
As an improving school they are looking for someone with drive and ambition, as well as a proven track record of improving outcomes for children. There is a below average number of EAL and SEN children in the school, and pupil premium is also below average.

Responsibilities
As a Primary Teacher you will be responsible for the whole class and their learning, adhering to the curriculum. The year group is to be determined by the strengths of the applicant so there is an element of flexibility.
As the school is improving, it is looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make a difference with fresh ideas and approaches. You will have good behaviour management and a hands-on approach. There is a teaching assistant in each class so you will be expected to manage them effectively.
