Search jobsFlourish Education are working with a Secondary School in Solihull for 11-16 year olds who are currently recruiting for a Religious Education Teacher from September. Our client is a diverse school that enhances the surrounding community and has an excellent local reputation. The school ensures that every pupil makes great progress and is responsible for their own learning.
The successful candidate will be teaching RE across Key Stage 3 and 4 with the responsibility of planning, marking, attending parent’s evenings and CPD. Our client is looking for committed and enthusiastic teacher that will help motivate students to succeed.
This RE Teacher Position is starting from September and is expected to last the full academic year.
To apply to this role you will need the following
· QTS in RE or Humanities (NQT’s are encouraged to apply)
· Experience teaching in a UK Secondary School
· Excellent understanding of RE curriculum
· Able to teach up to Key Stage 4
Responsibilities
· Whole class teaching responsibilities
· Driving improvements in grades
· Monitoring and ensuring pupil progress
· Improving English GCSE and A Level grades
