Looking for a long-term Year 1 Teacher role? Flourish Education are recruiting a Key Stage One Teacher to work on a full-time basis in a recently rated ‘GOOD’ by OFSTED School that are based in the North-West of Walsall.
Our client is looking to recruit a Year 1Teacher to work in a Year 1 class on a full-time basis. As a Year 1 Teacher in this school, experience would be desired but is not a necessity and applications are welcomed from ECT’s and experienced teachers.
At our client’s school, you will be expected to plan and deliver lessons, in a creative and engaging manner, work alongside the teaching assistant and your job share partner, safeguard all students, mark student’s work in line with the school policy, attend staff meetings and take part in the playground duty rota and create a positive learning environment.
This Year 1 teacher role is due to start after May Half Term as is expected to last until the end of the academic year with the potential of being extended into the next academic year.
Required skills and experience for this Year 1 Teacher Role:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Excellent knowledge of the Primary curriculum
- High expectations of pupil behaviour
- The ability to plan and deliver lessons across different year groups
- To be able to work in partnership with class TA and other staff members
- To create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment
- A DBS on the update service or issued within the last 12 months
