Are you a teacher looking for a consistent long-time role?

Flourish Education are looking for a teacher to join one of our schools from Easter 2024 on a long-term basis. The school is based in the Rowley Regis area and are currently looking to recruit a teacher for a Reception class. Someone who has good subject knowledge and experience working within Early Years would be preferred.

Planning is required but PPA time would be allocated to allow the teacher to complete this. The role is open to applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Job role

  • Teaching a Reception
  • Full class teacher role: planning, marking and assessment required
  • Follow the school’s LIVE marking policy
  • Build relationships with the pupils, parents and staff
  • Provide feedback on pupil progress/attainment
  • Attend CPD relevant to the role with other teachers/staff
  • Full time, long-term role

Required skills and experience

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Good subject knowledge
  • Experience as a teacher within Early Years
  • Able to liaise with other staff/work in collaboration
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months.
  • Minimum of 2 excellent references required.

The intervention teacher role is within a school in the Rowley Regis area. For those travelling by public transport the school can be easily reached from the surrounding areas of Cradley Heath, Brandhall, Bartley Green, Harborne and Halesowen The school has on-site parking for those travelling further including Dudley, Sandwell and Stourbridge, as well as Hagley and Birmingham.
