Job Description

We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant (TA) to work in various Primary Schools in and around Gloucester on a day-to-day supply basis. The Teaching Assistant role (TA):

  • Building trusting relationships with the pupils
  • Ensure the safety of the children in the class
  • Contribute to a safe, engaging and positive learning environment
  • Work closely with the class teacher
  • Potentially conduct small group work when needed

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant (TA) role:

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
  • Good curriculum knowledge of either Early years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
  • Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools
  • A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
  • A minimum of 2 excellent references

Location

We are currently working with schools in Gloucester including the areas of Tredworth, Brockworth, Quedgeley, Churchdown, Innsworth and Tuffley. The Primary schools we work with offer onsite parking.
