Paediatric First Aid Training

As part of our commitment to continued professional development for our Flourish Team, we organised free Level 3 Paediatric First Aid training for a cohort of Teachers and Teaching Assistants who work with Flourish Education over half term.
This 2 day, Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification is ideal for those who work in Early Years as it has been specifically designed to fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements for early years teachers and nursery workers.
The attendees learnt the roles and responsibilities of a paediatric first aider, alongside the necessary skills to administer safe and effective treatment when dealing with a wide range of paediatric first aid situations including CPR, AED, choking, head and spinal injuries and anaphylaxis and allergic reactions.
The feedback from the attendees was fantastic and it’s great to know that they feel confident about using their new skills/knowledge should the worst happen and a first aid situation occurs whilst they are working in the future.
